Job summary

Methodist Healthcare System in San Antonio, TX is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse II for the Resource Team. The RN delivers safe nursing care, advocates for patients and families, and collaborates with the care team to meet quality outcomes in alignment with the hospital mission.

You will follow the nursing process, participate in performance improvement activities, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining safety and compliance with Texas BON rules and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required (Texas BON)
• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of start
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) within 6 months of start

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Collaborate with the patient care team and communicate effectively using SBAR.
• Document thoroughly in the medical record and ensure patient safety and compliance with policies.
