Valley Health in Winchester, VA, is seeking a Registered Nurse II (RN II) for the Pre-Admission Testing department. The RN will perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, evaluation—while ensuring accurate documentation and timely care.

The ideal candidate holds an ASN/ADN or nursing diploma with RN licensure, BLS certification, and a BSN preferred. Expect involvement in patient teaching, quality initiatives, and strong teamwork in a supportive, patient-centered system.

Qualifications

• RN license required; eligible in VA/WV as applicable.
• Associate degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required; AHA Healthcare Provider.

Responsibilities

• Carry out nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, evaluation and documentation.
• Ensure quality communication, teamwork and professional leadership.
• Direct, coordinate and implement patient teaching and safety initiatives.
• Support activities of other health team personnel while maintaining standards.
