GBMC HealthCare in Towson, MD is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our patient care team. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for diverse patient populations.

You will coordinate care with physicians, families, and ancillary staff; administer medications and IV therapies; and participate in teaching and quality improvement initiatives. A valid Maryland RN license and CPR are required, with specialty certifications preferred on hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
• Current Maryland RN registration with the State Board.
• CPR certification (Healthcare Provider, biennial); specialty certifications on hire.
• One year of RN experience required.
• Proficiency in nursing plan of care, assessment, and care coordination.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilités

• Assessment: compile database and formulate nursing diagnosis.
• Planning: write and update a nursing plan of care.
• Implementation: administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments.
• Patient Care Coordination: manage daily patient assignment and coordinate with team.
• Teaching and Quality Improvement: document teaching and participate in education.
• Professional Excellence: may serve as charge RN and precept new staff.
