Job summary

Arkansas Children's is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department, full-time, evening shift (7p-7a). The role includes family-centered care, rounds participation, and critical thinking in high-stakes situations. A $10K sign-on bonus is offered for eligible candidates.

Required: Associate's degree or equivalent, RN license (Arkansas or compact state). Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred; internal career ladder opportunities and ongoing professional development are available.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college program or nursing diploma.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact state license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Document care plans, provide hand-offs, and participate in rounds.
• Assess, plan, and execute patient-centered care with family involvement.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Mentor and support junior staff and students as appropriate.
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and state regulations.
