Johns Hopkins Medicine’s Sibley Nursing Team is seeking an Emergency Services Registered Nurse to provide high-quality ED care and participate in education and quality initiatives. This role supports a 24-hour ED with a focus on compassionate, evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
Applicants should hold a DC RN license, have completed an accredited RN program, and possess at least 6 months of acute care experience, with ED experience preferred.
Weekly Working Hours: 36 hours plus alternating weekend
Shift: Day Shifts 7a and 9a
With its 318 beds, this non-profit, full-service acute care hospital offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopedic, skilled nursing inpatient services, and a 24-hour Emergency Department. Sibley’s campus is also home to Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence; a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers; and the new patient tower with 200 spacious, private rooms.

Applicants with an Associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program may be considered; provided they are enrolled in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 5 years of hire
