Job summary

Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care within the California Nursing Practice Act and hospital policies. You will perform the nursing process—assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care—and coordinate with other providers while educating patients and families to manage their care and prevent complications.

Education includes graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with a CA RN license and current BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Experience: Minimum of one-year prior acute care RN experience preferred.
• Licensure: Current CA RN license, BLS, ACLS; NIHSS not required here.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients by collecting and documenting data.
• Develop and implement care plans; monitor and adjust based on patient response.
• Coordinate care with other providers and educate patients/family.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards.
