Mercy Hospital is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse to provide critical care to adult and geriatric patients in the ICU, using evidence-based practices. You will assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
Qualifications include a graduate nursing program, Oklahoma RN license, BLS & ACLS certifications; NIHSS may be obtained within three months. Weekend day shifts available.

Overview:
Critical Care Registered Nurses are accountable for the provision of nursing care of assigned patients in all phases of care in the ICU. The Registered Nurse, utilizing theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice will assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice for adult/geriatric patients.
Qualifications:
Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
Licensure: Current Oklahoma RN License
Certifications: BLS & ACLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently. NIHSS; if new to the unit nurse will obtain within the first three months of employment in Critical Care
Other: Completes Hospital and Unit Specific nursing competency within 3 months of employment and annually, submits to Nurse Manager/ Education Coordinator.
