Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking an ICU Stepdown RN to join our Night shift team in Vancouver, WA. You will provide critical care to patients, perform assessments, plan care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year RN experience.
• RN license in WA or MSL and BLS required.
• ACLS and NIHSS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of age-specific growth and development, positive interpersonal relationships, and alignment with medical center philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Provide ICU Stepdown nursing care for critically ill patients.
• Document patient care accurately and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care on nights in a 0.90 FTE position.
• Collaborate with team to ensure safety, quality, and positive patient outcomes.

About the Role:

As an ICU Stepdown RN at PeaceHealth, you'll play a vital role in delivering comprehensive and compassionate care to critically ill patients. You will utilize your clinical expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs, ensuring accurate documentation and collaborating effectively with the interdisciplinary team. This full-time (0.90 FTE) night shift position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families. This position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement.

• Competitive Pay:Our hourly wage for this position ranges from $56.92 to $86.09 (per the Collective Bargaining Agreement). We also offer great shift differentials of up to $7.75/hour for night shifts and additional pay for advanced degrees and certifications.
