Job summary

Mercy Hospital - W Memorial Rd in Moore, OK is seeking a compassionate RN for a part-time, 12-hour-per-week role in the ICU Step Down unit. This high-energy 32-bed unit supports patients transitioning out of ICU and those needing higher care, with a focus on neurological, medical, and surgical cases in a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center program.

Required Education is a nursing degree; BSN preferred but ADN acceptable.

Qualifications

• Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school.
• Preferred Education: BSN preferred but ADN acceptable.
• License: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association

Overview:

This high-energy 32-bed unit is in the critical care service line, which serves patients transitioning out of Intensive Care and/or patients requiring a higher level of care. Our higher acuity population is primarily comprised of neurological, medical, and surgical patients. With our neurological specialty, we are a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center program.

Qualifications:

• Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
• Preferred Education: Prefer BSN but ADN is acceptable
• License: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
