Description:The ICU is a multidisciplinary unit providing care for patients with various medical needs.Patients include those with neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma conditions.Various types of technology are utilized to care for and treat critical care patients.This technology includes ventilators, ventriculostomies, cardiac monitors, pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, continuous pulse oximetry, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), gastric tubes, and intravenous infusion pumps.The role fulfills the needs of patients and families by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.All candidates must be available to start within 7 days of offer.No pushed starts are allowed.All compliance items must be provided to start on the assignment.Remaining documents must be received by the deadline to avoid cancellation of the contract.
