Job summary

Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital in Warrensville Heights, OH is seeking an Emergency Department RN for a full-time daytime shift. You will provide direct nursing care, implement and adjust care plans, monitor patient conditions, and administer medications in a fast-paced ED environment.

Requirements include an active RN license and BLS certification. 1+ year of acute care or ED experience is required; ACLS/PALS are preferred, with TNCC or ENPC expected within the first year of employment.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma, ADN or BSN and active RN license.
• Experience: 1+ year in acute care RN or ED; military RN experience considered.
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred; TNCC/ENPC upon hire or within 1 year.

• Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions.

What You'll Do

Requirements

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)

Experience:

• 1+ year of current acute care RN or Emergency Department experience – Will consider military RN experience

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
• Completion of Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) upon hire or within one year of employment
