Job Description

The ICU/PCU Float Registered Nurse will provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care across the Intensive Care Unit and Progressive Care Unit. This role encompasses service delivery to adult and geriatric patients requiring continuous monitoring and advanced nursing interventions for serious medical, cardiac, neurological, and surgical conditions. The position demands flexibility to transition between ICU and PCU levels of care while maintaining a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients in ICU and PCU settings.
• Complete comprehensive assessments and monitor changes in patient conditions.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience.
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and assessment skills.
• Ability to care for patients needing continuous cardiac, respiratory, and hemodynamic monitoring.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active and unrestricted RN license as required by the facility.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• EKG certification preferred.
