Cynet Health is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week night shift assignment in California. The role involves caring for patients with sepsis, respiratory failure, trauma, and post-neurosurgical cases, with a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio and support from a multidisciplinary team.
Candidates must have a valid compact nursing license, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and at least 2 years in critical care; travel between facilities may be required, and holidays are expected.

Description:Night shift from 19:00 to 07:00.Assist with chest tube insertion and removal.Experience in cardiovascular intensive care and management of ventilated patients is required.Knowledge of CVA/acute stroke management is essential.Familiarity with hypothermia protocols and ICP monitoring is important.Experience in infection prevention and isolation precautions is expected.Knowledge of medical intensive care and neuro intensive care practices is preferred.Experience with post-craniotomy and post-neurosurgery management is beneficial.Skilled in caring for patients with spinal cord injuries and traumatic brain injuries is a plus.Daily census of approximately 10 patients in a 20-bed unit.Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.Expected patient diagnoses include sepsis, respiratory failure, and trauma.Travelers may be required to float between facilities if necessary.Candidates must commit to working three out of five major holidays.
