Job summary

Cynet Health seeks an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week assignment in North Carolina. The role focuses on caring for adult ICU patients with sepsis, DKA, strokes, and respiratory failure, with a 1:2–3 nurse-to-patient ratio and a 14-bed unit.

Responsibilities include vented patient care, central line care, rapid response participation, and potential float to other areas. Requires active RN license and BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certifications, with navy blue scrubs required.

Qualifications

• Experience with vented patients, trachs, chest tubes, and critical drip maintenance.
• Ability to perform central line maintenance, arterial line monitoring, and wound care.
• Proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation, PIV starts, and NG tube insertion/maintenance.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system.

Responsibilities

• Care for adult patients in a Medical Intensive Care Unit with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2–3.
• May be required to float to other units as needed.
• Participate in rapid response and code teams.
• Support from unit staff including a Charge Nurse and a 24/7 hospitalist is available.
