Description:This position is for a registered nurse in the ICU specialty.The facility is a 107-bed, Joint Commission-accredited facility.The hospital serves as the sole provider of acute care in its area.It has been serving patients since 1993.The facility offers a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient services.The unit consists of 8 beds with a patient ratio of 2:1.Equipment utilized includes Meditech Magic for electronic health records.The patient population includes adults and geriatrics.Common diagnoses/treatments include respiratory failure, sepsis, DKA, GI bleed, afib RVR, CHF, and chronic renal failure.The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week, alternating every other weekend.The ideal candidate should have high energy and be willing to take direction.The dress code includes scrub colors of any solid variety.Unacceptable attire includes crocs, "hey dudes", t-shirts with logos, and scrubs with cartoon characters.
