Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for an ICU unit on a 13-week contract in El Paso, TX. The night shift runs from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with 12-hour shifts. The unit admits up to 24 beds with a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio.

Candidates must hold an active RN license and have a minimum of 1 year of direct ICU experience. ACLS and BLS certifications are required; bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) are preferred. Experience with Meditech EMR and ICU equipment is expected.

Description:Contract position for an RN in the Intensive Care Unit.Duration is 13 weeks with a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.No call required for this position.Unit consists of 24 beds with a staff of 12.Patient-to-nurse ratios are 2:1.Types of equipment used include TABLO, Belmont/Level 1 rapid infuser, Camino/Integra ICP monitoring, Flo-trac, Rotoprone, ventilators, and all invasive hemodynamic monitoring.Electronic medical records system is Meditech.Candidates should have direct ICU experience of 3 years.Preferred skills include bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) and trauma experience (TNCC/TCAR).Typical procedures performed on the unit include code intubation, trauma level 1 intervention, and code resuscitation.Ideal candidates will be engaged RNs who follow facility policies and guidelines.Dress code includes galaxy blue or royal blue scrubs.This position does not have permanent opportunities available.Employing highly qualified and experienced staff is essential for unit performance.Innovative technology and equipment may be available to enhance patient care.
