Job summary

Corewell Health's Ludington Hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) seeks a dedicated RN to deliver high-quality nursing care in a 6-bed unit. You will follow ANA standards and Michigan laws, applying critical thinking and the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.

The role emphasizes onboarding, leadership support, and ongoing professional development within a team-centered, patient-safety focused environment.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required within 5 years.
• MI RN license required.
• BLS required within 90 days.
• ACLS required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described by the ANA and Michigan law.
• Demonstrates nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Upholds professional standards including ethics, communication, collaboration, and quality of practice.

Scope of work

Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA. This includes ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization and environmental health. Strives to achieve optimal outcomes.
