Cynet Health is seeking an RN for ICU care on a 13-week assignment in Indiana. The Day Shift requires a 12-hour shift pattern with a focus on safe, patient-centered care and leadership of licensed and non-licensed staff.

Two years of acute ICU RN experience, current RN license, and certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIHSS) are required, along with Epic experience to support care coordination and documentation.

Description:The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for the care of a group of patients.The RN focuses on safe, effective, patient-centered care.Customer satisfaction and quality outcomes are key responsibilities.The RN is responsible for maintaining a financially stable unit and promoting personal development.The RN supervises both licensed and non-licensed staff.The RN applies the caring processes of the Kristin M. Swanson Model of Care.The RN is responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating the plan of care.Patient and family comfort, education, and satisfaction are essential elements of care.The RN utilizes educational and professional experiences to deliver quality care.The RN mentors and precepts staff as needed.

• Delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel.
• Functions as a mentor/preceptor.
• Demonstrates, encourages, and facilitates teamwork.
• Identifies and communicates opportunities for improvement.
• Participates in quality, safety, and service process improvement efforts.
• Implements practice changes while complying with regulatory standards.
