Job summary

9West at MUSC Health is a 23-bed inpatient Neurology/Neurosurgery/Epilepsy Monitoring Unit serving adults and geriatrics. The RN I/II roles provide individualized nursing care under supervision, utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Shifts are rotating (3-12s) with some weekends, and require standing, mobility, and ability to lift. A BSN is preferred; SC RN licensure and BLS are mandatory. MUSC Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• RN licensure by SC Board of Nursing or compact state.
• BLS certification is required (AHA/Red Cross accepted).
• BSN is preferred for new hires or as per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care to patients and families.
• Collaborate with health care team to achieve outcomes.
• Support 9West Neurology/Neurosurgery/Epilepsy Monitoring Unit operations.
