Qualifications

• Life Support: AHA BLS-HCP required; may need ACLS/PALS/NRP depending on work unit.
• Computer skills: Proficient with electronic medical records (EPIC).

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide age-appropriate, unit-specific care plans and documentation.
• Collaborate with health care team to develop interdisciplinary plans of care.
• Administer and document treatments and medications using EMR systems.
• Educate patients and families and advocate for patient rights and well-being.
• Support performance improvement and unit activities.
• Mentor new staff and participate in organizational initiatives.
