Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA is seeking an RN I for the Float Pool to provide professional nursing care across Med-Surg, PCU and ICU, across age groups. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and supporting education for staff.

The role requires an RN license in Virginia, BLS-HCP, and flexibility to work in a dynamic care environment. Sign-on bonus is available and training in various ICU tracks is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a State Board of Nursing approved program.
• Current RN license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• BLS‑Healthcare Provider (ACLS/PALS may be required by unit).
• Keyboarding and computer literacy; EMR documentation experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide individualized patient care across age groups.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Document care in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with patients, families and interdisciplinary teams.
• Administer treatments and medications accurately.
• Support orientation and training of new staff.
