Job summary

Novant Health is seeking Registered Nurses to join the Float Pool, delivering continuous quality patient care across multiple units. You will work as part of a rotating team to meet patient needs efficiently, spanning CCU, Inpatient Med/Surg, and Women's services as required.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited nursing degree with a BSN preferred, possess current compact RN licensure for the state, and are prepared to complete required restrictive-interventions training within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current compact RN licensure in the appropriate state; required.
• State-approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units; required.
• Specialty certifications encouraged: Chemo Certification, Non Violent Crisis Intervention, Triage Course, NRP.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous quality patient care in a variety of settings.
• Be part of a resource team assigned to varying units during shifts.
• Ensure patient care needs are met and maintain competency to work in multiple clinical areas.
• Float Pool is part of Patient Care Services with three RN teams.
