Job summary

Indiana University Health West in Avon, IN is seeking an RN House Supervisor (Associate Administrator) to join our leadership team. The role includes directing operations during weekends and nights, ensuring smooth patient flow, and collaborating with nursing and support services to maintain The Best Care, Designed for You.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN, an active Indiana RN license, BLS, and 5–7 years of experience with prior leadership.

Qualifications

• BSN required or relevant experience.
• Active RN license in Indiana or an active NLC RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department.
• Clinical Specialty Professional Certification within 1 year upon meeting eligibility requirements.
• 5–7 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Previous leadership experience (charge nurse or above), strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management in the absence of administrative staff.
• Facilitate patient flow and expedite placement.
• Consult on emergency situations and coordinate with relevant departments.
• Address challenges and collaborate with administrative personnel.
