Job summary

The Pines at Davidson in Davidson, NC is hiring an RN House Supervisor to provide clinical oversight and leadership for our nursing team across assisted living and long-term care settings.

You will supervise admissions and care planning, conduct resident rounds, coordinate with physicians and families, ensure accurate documentation, and respond to urgent events with professionalism and compassion. A valid NC RN license and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in North Carolina.
• Geriatric care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of long-term care standards and regulations.
• Strong communication and judgement.
• Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Adobe) and EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership for nursing staff during shifts.
• Conduct resident rounds to evaluate condition changes and monitor high-risk residents.
• Supervise admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Oversee timely documentation (assessments, incidents, nursing notes).
• Respond to codes and rapid responses and acute changes.
• Communicate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and families as needed.
• Ensure proper escalation and documentation of emergencies.
• Participate in hand-offs, care plan updates, and leadership huddles.
• Address resident/family concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure residents receive needed services and timely provider notification.
• Promote a positive, supportive environment for residents.
• Identify trends and elevate to DON/Administrator.
• Promote best practices and continuous improvement in resident care.
