Job summary

North Okaloosa Medical Center in Crestview, FL is seeking a Supervisor, House - RN to provide leadership during shifts and ensure safe, high‑quality patient care. This role serves as the on‑call administrative contact during evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

You will coordinate patient flow, manage staffing, respond to emergencies, and support clinical and non‑clinical staff while upholding hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing required
• 1-2 years of related experience in the profession required
• 1-2 years of previous leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversees hospital operations during assigned shifts, ensuring appropriate staffing levels across departments to meet patient care needs.
• Monitors hospital census, coordinates admissions, discharges, and transfers, and ensures optimal bed utilization.
• Acts as the administrative point of contact for staff, patients, and families during non-business hours, addressing inquiries and resolving conflicts.
• Responds to emergencies and critical patient care issues, coordinating resources and personnel to ensure safety and quality care.
• Serves as incident commander in disasters until relieved by a senior leader, ensuring effective communication and resource allocation.
