Job summary

Charlottesville Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an RN House Supervisor to lead the nursing department in the DON’s absence at our 105-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Charlottesville.

The role includes reviewing shift staffing, assigning and replacing staff, completing patient rounds, coordinating admissions, transfers and discharges, and supervising evening and night shift staff. Must be a licensed RN with at least 3 years of acute-care experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with minimum 3 years of nursing experience.
• Experience in acute care setting required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees nursing department in DON’s absence.
• Reviews shift staffing and assigns/replaces staff.
• Completes patient care rounds and coordinates admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Assists in orientation of evening and night shift staff.
• Supervises and evaluates evening and night staff.
