Job summary

Virginia Beach Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking an RN House Supervisor for our 180-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Virginia Beach. We are looking for caring, warm-hearted nurses to provide meaningful work and compassionate patient care within a dedicated team.

The RN House Supervisor will oversee nursing in the DON’s absence, manage shift staffing, conduct rounds, and coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges with proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with at least 3 years of nursing experience.
• Experience in an acute care setting is required.
• Ability to oversee staff and coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing department in DON’s absence.
• Review staffing at shift change and assign/replace staff accordingly.
• Complete patient care rounds and ensure proper documentation.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges and orient evening/night staff.
• Supervise and evaluate evening and night shift staff.
