Job summary

St. Anthony North Hospital is seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor to coordinate and direct safe patient care and throughput across the hospital, acting as a critical communication link among the emergency department, registration, and nursing units.

You will lead and support clinical care processes, participate in emergency management, and serve as a role model for staff in urgent situations while reporting concerns to the on-call administrator.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within two years of hire or transfer to role.
• Two years of clinical RN experience.
• RN license to practice in state of employment as applicable.
• Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• One year of clinical leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Physically makes rounds on units during their shift and participates in patient care as needed.
• Manages clinical aspects of patient transfer and determines stability and coverage.
• Responds to all STAT calls and inhouse emergency codes.
• Directs and coordinates Code Blue and RRT in absence of physician.
• Collaborates with staffing coordinator and leaders to ensure adequate staffing.
• Facilitates development of processes and standards to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintains high skill level through ongoing education and attendance at meetings.
