Job summary

St. Anthony North Hospital in Westminster, CO is seeking an RN House Supervisor to coordinate and direct safe patient care and throughput hospital-wide.

You will serve as a critical link between ED, patient registration, providers, and nursing units, acting as a clinical resource and leader during codes and emergencies. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within two years of hire.
• Two years of clinical RN experience.
• RN license to practice in state of employment as applicable.
• Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Physically makes rounds on units during their shift and participates in patient care as needed, e.g., starting IVs and transfers.
• Manages clinical aspects of patient transfer, determines stability and coverage.
• Responds to all STAT calls and inhouse emergency codes.
• Directs and coordinates Code Blue and RRT in absence of physician and models best patient care.
• Collaborates with staffing and nursing leadership to ensure adequate staffing on units.
• Facilitates development of processes and standards to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintains high skill level through ongoing education and meeting attendance.
