Job summary

St. David’s North Austin Medical Center is seeking a House Supervisor to lead and oversee all house-wide functions during a designated shift.

You will collaborate with the nursing management team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care while coordinating with hospital administration in their absence. The role requires an RN with 5+ years of clinical practice, and active ACLS, BCLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certifications.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in clinical practice is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• RN license is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all house-wide functions during a designated shift.
• Act as an active member of the nursing management team.
• Assume authority to manage activities and personnel in conjunction with hospital administration in their absence.
