Job summary

St. David’s North Austin Medical Center is seeking a House Supervisor to lead all house-wide functions during a designated shift, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.

You will participate as a senior member of the nursing management team and have authority to manage activities and staff in collaboration with hospital administration when needed. The ideal candidate will hold an Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma, with a preference for a Bachelor's in Nursing and at least 5 years

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• RN license (Registered Nurse)
• RN Diploma

Responsibilities

• The House Supervisor provides direction and supervision of all house-wide functions during a designated shift to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Acts as a key member of the nursing management team and has authority to manage activities and personnel in coordination with hospital administration in the absence of leadership.
