Job summary

The House Supervisor (RN) role at TGH Behavioral Health Hospital in Tampa, FL, is a PRN opportunity to oversee nursing staff and ensure quality psychiatric care for patients with substance use or mental health disorders.

You will supervise day-to-day activities, participate in education and scheduling, review documentation, and may perform bedside nursing duties to ensure accurate treatment plans and high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN, ADN or Nursing Diploma program.
• Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.
• CPR and De-escalation certification required or obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist staff in all functions to ensure quality general and psychiatric care.
• Supervise day-to-day activities of staff in all CCD and nursing areas; assist with scheduling, education and discipline as needed.
• Review documentation to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and completeness.
• Serve as a working RN to deliver nursing care and document treatment plans.
