Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for the House Supervisor (Night Shift) role in Harrisburg, PA. The contract is 13 weeks, with a 3x12-hour night schedule from 19:00 to 07:00.

The RN will conduct assessments, develop care plans, and participate in rehabilitation programs while ensuring documentation and timely communication within the interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include discharge planning from admission, maintaining safety, and supervising ancillary nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience.
• BLS Certification required prior to the first shift.
• ACLS Certification required prior to the first shift for CIRH locations only.
• Current RN license is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission and develop individualized care plans.
• Identify patient teaching needs and goals related to diagnoses.
• Participate in patient rehabilitation programs, focusing on education and achieving patient goals.
• Initiate discharge planning from day of admission and provide ongoing patient teaching.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of assessments and interventions in the medical record.
• Communicate changes in patient status to the care team to support safety and continuity of care.
• Supervise and train ancillary nursing personnel as needed.
• Maintain personal and environmental safety in compliance with hospital policies.
