Job summary

Methodist Healthcare seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the ICU Resource Team. The RN will float across Methodist Hospitals in the San Antonio area, delivering safe nursing care and collaborating with the patient care team to improve outcomes.

In this role you will participate in leadership activities, benefit from a comprehensive orientation, mentorship, and ongoing education to advance your nursing career, with state-of-the-art units and support programs available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited RN program (diploma, associate, or BSN).
• Minimum 2 years of acute RN experience; at least 1 year in specialty areas when floating.
• Current Texas RN license (or Multi-State Compact; Texas license within 60 days).
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process with critical thinking and leadership to deliver safe care.
• Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality outcomes.
• Provide communication, professionalism, and engagement in unit/organizational activities.
• Demonstrate teamwork and adaptability as a resource to the patient care team.
