James River Home Health and Hospice seeks an RN Hospice Administrator to lead clinical services and day-to-day operations for our Roanoke-area hospice in the Lynchburg region. The role focuses on supervision, regulatory compliance, policy implementation, and operational excellence to deliver compassionate end-of-life care in clients\' homes.

Qualified candidates are licensed RNs in Virginia with at least two years in health settings and one year in hospice leadership within the last five years.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Virginia.
• Minimum 2 years health-related experience.
• At least 1 year hospice supervisory or administrative experience in the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership while promoting a mission-driven work environment.
• Manage daily clinical and administrative operations across hospice services.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and support clinical and administrative staff.
• Ensure compliance with hospice regulations and accreditation standards.
• Deliver patient-centered hospice care plans in collaboration with families.
• Oversee budget planning and resource allocation to ensure sustainability.
• Foster effective communication among staff, patients, families, and partners.
