Vitality Hospice & Palliative Care in Lehigh Valley, PA, seeks a Director of Clinical Operations (RN) to lead clinical services and ensure high-quality, compliant hospice care. You will oversee staff performance, regulatory compliance, and patient outcomes while partnering with leadership to drive operational excellence.

The role requires an active PA RN license, hospice experience, and strong leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania.
• 2+ years hospice, home health, or palliative care experience.
• 1+ year clinical leadership or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of hospice regulations (CMS, CHAP, Joint Commission preferred).
• Care planning, documentation compliance, and IDT processes.
• Staff supervision and team leadership.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical operations and patient care services.
• Lead Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings to ensure effective care planning.
• Supervise RNs, LPNs, CHHA, social workers, and clinical staff.
• Ensure timely documentation in CMS, CHAP, and state regulations.
• Maintain compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation.
• Collaborate on clinical education and training programs.
• Conduct facility visits to support patient care delivery.
• Monitor staffing, scheduling, payroll, mileage, and supply costs.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction.
