Vitality Hospice is seeking an experienced RN to serve as Director of Clinical Operations, leading a multidisciplinary team to improve symptom management and quality of life for patients and families. Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a registered nurse (RN) in the state of operation.
• Minimum two years of professional nursing experience in hospice, home health, or community health.
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience.
• Experience in end-of-life care, crisis intervention, pain and symptom control, and family counseling.
• Demonstrated ability to support staff and patient/family needs with tactful service recovery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all direct and indirect patient services with the Clinical Team Coordinator.
• Lead interdisciplinary team meetings to refine patient/family care plans and foster collaboration.
• Supervise, hire, and evaluate interdisciplinary team members.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of services.
• Ensure compliance with accrediting and licensing agencies and state/federal laws.
• Collaborate with Compliance to assess staff education needs and implement training.
• Regularly visit contracted facilities to maintain relationships and provide education and support.
• Monitor monthly bills, supply costs, expenses, mileage reimbursement, and payroll.
