Compassus in Richmond, VA is seeking a Hospice Director Clinical Services (Registered Nurse/RN) to supervise patient and family care per the plan of care and to lead the Interdisciplinary Team. The role emphasizes adherence to regulatory standards and collaboration with the Medical Director to ensure high-quality hospice services.

The successful candidate will have an RN license in Virginia, at least three years in healthcare, and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with minimum of three years in healthcare required, preferably in Nursing Facility, Home Health or Hospice setting.
• Virginia RN licensure required; BSN strongly preferred.
• Experience in leadership or management preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patient and family care as specified by the plan of care, assessing appropriateness, continuity, service, and quality of care.
• Manage Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) scheduling, mentoring, and timekeeping.
• Oversee the consultative process between the Medical Director and IDT members.
• Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations.
• Lead EMR documentation workflow as needed.
