Job summary

Heartland Hospice in Ames, IA is seeking an RN Hospice Administrator to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for an assigned location with developing census. You will lead interdisciplinary teams to ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while upholding mission and regulatory standards.

The role requires an RN license (ADN required; BSN preferred), 2+ years hospice/home care experience, and 1+ year of management experience.

Qualifications

• RN with ADN, and a BSN preferred.
• 3–5 years healthcare sales/management experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management/supervisory experience required.
• 2+ years in hospice/home care required.
• Strong understanding of hospice regulations and Medicare conditions of participation.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations for an assigned hospice location with developing census.
• Direct interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Oversee financial performance, HR, office operations, and community relations.
• Develop and implement policies in collaboration with leadership to guide service delivery.
