Job description

$10,000 Sign on Bonus!

MERCY HOSPITAL Oklahoma City

Department: Hospice

Status: Full Time (40 hrs/wk)

Shift: Days and every other weekend

Incentives:

  • This position is eligible for a Sign On Bonus, paid out over 2 years for experienced RNs (1 year +)
  • RNs vary from $40-$90 per visit (Day of the week and type of visit)
  • $0.67/mi. gas mileage reimbursement
  • Health/Dental/Vision available day one
  • 401k with employer match

Overview:

Nurses provide care to patients in their homes, nursing homes, and assisted living. Hospice is very rewarding because nurses are able to provide the care they went to nursing school to do. It is holistic in nature, caring for the whole person and not just a diagnosis. The goal is to improve the patient’s quality of life while managing symptoms for comfort at end of life.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least one year of Nursing experience (LPN or RN).
  • Licensure: Active Oklahoma RN License.
  • Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification through the American Heart Association. Valid drivers license.
  • Preferred Certifications: CHPN
  • Other: Demonstrates competence by completion of Universal Skills Inventory and Unit Specific Skills Check List within first three months of employment and updated annually.
