Salary: $32 - $36 / per hour

Maxim Healthcare Services (Homecare) is hiring for a Registered Nurse (RN) in Mt. Washington, KY. The RN will provide skilled nursing care and interventions in a one-on-one patient ratio setting, with a focus on pediatrics.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and services provided to clients receiving contracted services.
• Initiate the plan of care as directed, requesting revisions from prescribers as patient needs change.
• Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on diagnosis and goals.
• Respond to changes in patient condition, reporting to physicians or supervisors as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring and documenting their effectiveness.
• Review care plans and protocols, identifying areas for education, care coordination, and discharge planning.

Requirements:

• Current RN license for the practicing state.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of RN experience preferred.
