Job description

Salary: $28 - $32 / per hour

Shift times: Hiring for full-time and part-time positions - Day and Night shifts available. Shift times are flexible, 8-hour shifts.

Maxim Healthcare in Waynesburg is hiring a Registered Nurse to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and services provided to clients receiving contracted services, as required.
• Initiate the plan of care when directed and request necessary revisions from the prescriber as patient status and needs change.
• Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals.
• Respond to changes in patient/client condition and report such changes to the appropriate physician or supervisor.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor and document the effectiveness of interventions.
• Review the plan of care and protocols, and identify areas for healthcare teaching, care coordination, goal setting, and discharge planning, as applicable.

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of practice.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
