Maxim Healthcare in La Junta, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse to support adult patients in their homes. Per visit pay ranges from $27 to $33, with full-time, flexible part-time and PRN options across La Junta and nearby towns.

Responsibilities include planning, implementing and evaluating patient care, initiating and adjusting plans, administering meds, and coordinating discharge planning. Current RN license, BLS, and health documentation are required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license valid in the practicing state.
• Current health certificate as required by contract or state rule.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray documentation.
• Current BLS card on file.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate care for patients at home.
• Initiate care plans and revise as patient status changes with prescriber input.
• Apply therapeutic, preventive and rehabilitative nursing actions per diagnosis and goals.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and notify physician or supervisor.
• Administer medications and monitor response and effectiveness.
• Review care plans and coordinate education, discharge planning and care needs.

Maxim Healthcare in La Junta, CO is hiring for a Registered Nurse to work with Adult patients in their own homes.

Full-time, flexible part-time and PRN available for La Junta, Ordway, Las Animas and Lamar areas

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
