Maxim Healthcare in Orland Park is hiring a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to work with an adult patient in the home setting located in Chicago, IL, serving Hyde Park, Harvey, and West Pullman.

Shifts include Hyde Park every other Friday + PRN 7pm-7am; Harvey Friday–Sunday 7am-7pm; West Pullman Wednesday–Thursday 9am-5pm. Salary is $38–$45 per hour with benefits and comprehensive coverage.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the practicing state.
• Current Health Certificate per facility/state regulation.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Initiates the plan of care and revises as patient status changes.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed; monitors effects.
• Monitors and documents intervention effectiveness and outcomes.
• Educates and coordinates care and discharge planning as applicable.

Harvey: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday 7am-7pm

West Pullman: Wednesdays and Thursdays 9am-5pm

Salary: $38- $45/ per hour

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
