Magenta Care LLC is seeking a dedicated home infusion RN to deliver exceptional patient care in Ypsilanti, MI. The role requires travel up to one to two hours outside Ypsilanti to reach clients.

You will perform direct patient care, educate families on infusion therapy, document changes, and collaborate with physicians to develop care plans while upholding patient privacy and dignity. Requires MI RN license, BLS/CPR, and reliable transportation.

Qualificações

• Valid MI Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• CPR and BLS certifications required.
• Current Michigan Driver's license with proof of insurability.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care within the RN scope.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with family involvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and other team members to develop care plans.
• Facilitate start of care through admission process.
• Advocate for patient rights, preferences, and safety.
• Document changes in patient's condition and communicate with team.
• Provide home health nursing within standards of care and agency policies.
• Educate patients and families on infusion therapy management and self-care.

The primary location for this position will be in Ypsilanti , MI, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Ypsilanti to serve our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.


• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.


• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.


• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.


• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.


• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.


• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.


• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices

Requirements

• Valid MI Registered Nurse license.


• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).


• Excellent IV insertion skills.


• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.


• Current Michigan Driver's license with proof of insurability.


• Reliable transportation
