Job summary

Magenta Care LLC seeks a dedicated home infusion RN to deliver high-quality patient care in the Saginaw, MI area. The role requires travel to clients within a 1–2 hour radius and a valid MI RN license.

You will assess, document, and coordinate care with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes. As a home infusion nurse, you will educate families on infusion therapy, monitor for adverse events, and advocate for patient safety and privacy.

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan RN license.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• CPR and BLS certification.
• Current Michigan driver’s license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the RN scope of practice.
• Continuously assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with patient/family involvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to develop comprehensive plans of care.
• Facilitate start of care through admission processes.
• Act as patient advocate to uphold rights, preferences and safety.
• Document and communicate changes in patient condition to team and physicians.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients following policies and standards.
• Educate patients and families on infusion therapy management and self-care.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced home infusion RN who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

The primary location for this position will be in Saginaw , MI, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Saginaw to serve our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices.

Requirements

• Valid MI Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Michigan Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation.
