Job summary

Magenta Care LLC seeks a dedicated Home Infusion RN to deliver high-quality patient care in home settings across East Lansing, MI, with travel up to a few hours outside the area. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to implement comprehensive plans of care and educate patients and families on infusion therapy management.

Must hold a Michigan RN license with 1 year of infusion/ER/ICU experience, and be CPR/BLS certified with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Valid MI Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the RN practice act and home health setting.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with patient and family involvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Facilitate start of care through the admission process.
• Advocate for patient rights, safety and preferences.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced home infusion RN who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong commitment to maintaining patient privacy and dignity.

The primary location for this position will be in East Lansing, MI, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of East Lansing to serve our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices.

Requirements
