Job summary

Magenta Care LLC is seeking a dedicated home infusion RN to deliver exceptional patient care in Flint, MI. The role involves travel up to one to two hours outside Flint to serve clients, with direct patient care and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Requirements include a valid MI RN license, 1 year RN experience (Infusion/ER/ICU), IV insertion skills, CPR/BLS certification, and a Michigan driver's license with reliable transportation. Biweekly pay and travel pay are offered.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per RN scope of practice.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with family involvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop care plans.
• Facilitate start of care during admission process.
• Advocate for patient rights, preferences and safety.
• Document and communicate changes in patient condition promptly.
• Deliver home health nursing per standards and agency policies.
• Educate patients and families on infusion therapy and self-care.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced home infusion RN who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. The primary location for this position will be in Flint, MI, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Flint to serve our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices

Requirements

• Valid MI Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Michigan Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation
