Job summary

Magenta Care LLC is seeking a dedicated home infusion RN to provide direct patient care in the Warren, MI area, with travel to clients up to a couple hours outside Warren. Responsibilities include comprehensive care planning, family involvement, and coordination with physicians and the care team.

The role requires an active Michigan RN license, 1+ year infusion/ER/ICU experience, strong IV skills, CPR/BLS certification, and a valid Michigan driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• MI RN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Michigan Driver's license with proof of insurability and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within RN scope.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with family involvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to develop care plan.
• Facilitate start of care through admission process.
• Advocate for patient rights, preferences, and safety.

Location

The primary location for this position will be in Warren, MI, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Warren to serve our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices

Requirements
