Job summary

Magenta Care LLC seeks a dedicated home infusion RN to deliver high-quality care in the patient’s home. The role requires adaptability, strong communication, and empathy to ensure patient privacy and dignity are maintained.

The position is based in Berkeley, CA, with travel up to one to two hours outside Berkeley to serve clients. Applicant must have a CA RN license and valid driver’s license. Travel pay is provided.

Qualifications

• CA Registered Nurse license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills are essential.
• Valid California driver’s license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per RN practice act.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team.
• Facilitate start of care through admission process.
• Advocate for patient rights, preferences and safety.
• Document changes in patient condition and communicate promptly.
• Provide home health nursing care per agency standards.
• Educate patients and families on infusion therapy management and self-care.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced home infusion RN who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. The primary location for this position will be in Berkeley, CA, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Berkeley to serve our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices

Requirements

• Valid CA Registered Nurse license.
